Registered IT Apprenticeships - superhigh way to high paying IT jobs
Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where individuals obtain paid work experience, classroom instruction, and a nationally-recognized, portable credential. It is recognized as a key strategy to improving job quality and creating access to good-paying jobs for all, including populations historically underrepresented – women, people of color, and individuals with a disability – and underserved populations, such as youth and young adults. Proving you have your apprenticeship demonstrates verified and documented work experience with employer desired skills.
Our apprenticeship programs are currently available in the United States only. If you reside in other countries, check the online IT Bootcamps.

How Apprenticeship Works?
Front-Loaded Related Technical Instruction (RTI)
The RTI is a live instructor-led online bootcamp. During the program, apprentices gain basic to advanced IT skills early on, allowing them to hit the ground running when they enter the workplace. No prior tech experience is required.
Working knowledge of English language is required. The apprentice will NOT be paid during RTI.
On successful completion of bootcamp (RTI), the apprentice:
- will receive Bootcamp Completion Certificate.
- will be ready to pursue industry relevant IT certifications.
- start exploring on the job training (OJT) opportunities.
Direct Entry to Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP)
On successful completeion of pre-apprenticeship, apprentices are invited for an interview with VCA or other RAP / employer partners. The selected apprentices will undergo a blended approach, combining remaining RTI with paid, competency-based On-the-Job Training (OJT). This method allows apprentices to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, reinforcing learning, building practical IT skills, and ensuring job readiness while receiving financial support. The time frame from completing pre-apprenticeship to direct entry to RAP can vary, generally ranging from a few weeks to a couple of months, contingent upon the availability of OJT opportunities, employer selection processes, and onboarding procedures, which are subject to the employment market situation.
On successful completion of RAP, the apprentice receives a national credential from DOL.
